Earlier on this year (2018) Avov released the TVOnline N2, a 4K IPTV set-top box. After testing this box at our office, we realized that it is far superior than any of it’s previous set-top boxes, and as far as performance, stands up with the best of the best in it’s category.
The TVOnline N2 uses Avov’s Nova 2 middleware as it’s default middleware, and if you wished to connect your box to a Stalker based server, you would need to use the TVOnline app. Many customers found the extra steps of using the app to be a little much. Avov answered this problem by creating the TVOnline N2 Switchable.

How is the TVOnline N2 Switchable different than the regular TVONline N2?
The unique thing about the Avov TVOnline N2 is that you can seamlessly switch between using the Nova 2 platform and the Stalker platform. In the Settings menu, you can select between Stalker or Nova 2, and your box will conform to the respective middleware. The main screen menu options will also adjust depending on which platform you’re using. The Interface for Live TV/Channels and Movies/VOD also changes depending on which platform you’re using.
Though this is a huge feature, there’s no other real differences between the Standard TVOnline N2 and the TVOnline N2 Switchable.
You can identify if you have a TVOnline N2 Switchable if your box’s serial number starts with 1808. If it starts with 17XX, then it’s the standard Avov TVOnline N2.
